Hi everyone. My name is Lou-Anne and I just did that dosha quiz. I think the whole site is interesting. Just wanted to say hello and to say that I am looking forward to meeting with you all tomorrow for our first Get Real workshop. This is the first time I have ever blogged (was born in the stone age... :) ) and it seems like a great way to get and stay connected. Peace, Lou-Anne

Hello. How are you all doing? I am SOOOOooo sore today. I do like the way the rice and dahl tastes, and for me, just knowing that this is the amount I will eat today is alot easier than making all those food choices.

I enjoyed talking with you. I can't remember names... If you like could you send along your name and where you were sitting in the room (mirror side, wall side, middle, your left, your right and I will try to place name to face.

Am so grateful for this time and space...

Best Regards,
Lou-Anne

Hi Lou-Anne

I was sitting to Kate's immediate right. I am off to a slow start. Started the day off with my Neti/tea and Kichari but I was craving loads of sugar so I did have some treats. I didn't receive the packet for the program until Saturday so Im a week behind everyone. The rice is suprisingly good. What did you choose for your veggies and spices? I agree the options are limited so it makes it easy ;) I found myself really dragging a couple of hours ago but had some tea. So far so good!

Best,
Danielle

Hi Danielle,

Thanks for writing. I hear you. I really like the rice and lentils too. I used yam and fresh ginger. One of my daughters brought home TWO bags of smaller packs of kit kats. (because she said, buy one and get one free :) ). I succombed to one small pack (100 calories) and did manage to leave part of the second one, on purpose, (a first time, for sure), just to know that I can do it.

What I like about the rice is that it is quite filling as well.

Don't worry about just getting the packets! It's really all about just this moment. And you have prepared your rice!

I have always hated cooking. My boyfriend says that just doing this everyday for me is a worthy goal. By second day, today, it wasn't so bad at all.

Thanks for being so honest about the slip up. It helps all of us 'get real'!

Hope your day went well. good night! Take care, Lou-Anne
